The National Windsurf Festival, now in it's sixth year, saw over 300 competitors take part last year and on the 3rd and 4th of September 2011, it looks like the same spectacular turn out of competitors and spectors will decend on the 'Inn On The Beach' for a weekend of full on windsurfing and partying.

K66 asked organiser, Allan Cross what we have to look forward to. "The National Windsurfing Festival (NWF) is fast approaching. We encourage the normal spectator to become the competitor in this unique event which has been designed purely for the free-ride sailor.
This year has even more on offer to previous years with the addition of the National SUP Festival (NSUPF) and with 2011 seeing the largest pre-entry list to date we really will be looking at an awesome weekend on the water. And of course the Hawaiian themed party (for a thousand people) with a live band, will be crazy, it will definitely be a beach party not to miss out on".

The weekend will have plenty to offer as usual, with Clinics from Ant Baker, Jem Hall, Simon Bornhoft, Sam Ross, Kim Collis and Peter Hart. The OTC will be providing 'Come&Try' hands-on taster sessions and if that's not enough to keep you occupied, the NWF plays host to the biggest windsurf trade show where you can see all latest kit that 2012 has to offer.

Also, PWA Wave Rider, Marcillio Browne, aka, Brawzinho, will be hanging out with the K66 team on the Saturday; Wind pending, he'll get out on the water and show us how it's really done.
