Jay Manning
Jay Manning is one of the pioneers of stand up paddle boarding (SUP) in the UK, having been one of the first people to practise and promote SUP. Jay excels in a range of water sports with SUP and Windsurfing as core sports. Jay enjoys biking and running to keep fit when off the water, and always encourages people to have a go at water sports, get fit and stay fit through his training practises. Jay has a range of titles and achievements under his belt as a competitor whilst being a great advocat for stand up paddle boarding (SUP) and all it represents.
Jay’s mission is to spread ‘the stoke of SUP’, he lives for the sea and for living life to the full every day.
Outside of his day job, Jay also set up JSUP which is all about paddleboard fitness coaching and teaching the accessible sport, making it perfect for everyone to enjoy. Jay is based in Sittingbourne, Kent, but is always on the move searching for the perfect SUP conditions along the coastline, promoting K66 Surf Division and the sport he avidly represents.
His experience and close involvement in SUP from the very early days have lead him to develop a SUP specific product which is currently under development under Jay’s JSUP banner.
